How do I manage and edit my tasks?
In this article, you will learn about the types of tasks available in HR WORKS and how you, as a manager, can manage and assign them.
Table of contents
1. To-do section
The “To-do” section gives you access to the tasks assigned to you by the system or by other people. It also allows you to create your own tasks and assign them directly to specific people.
System tasks
System tasks are tasks that are created by the system when there is an open to-do. A distinction is made between the different roles of employee, supervisor, and administrator for the tasks to be completed. The “For role as administrator” task area is only displayed if you have been assigned at least one administrator role.
Clicking on the corresponding task takes you to the task editing mode, where you can only complete the task once the required action has been performed.
Tasks marked with the three-dot menu are for information purposes and can be started, completed, or deleted directly. How you approach the birthday greeting task in the following example and congratulate the employee is up to you.
Tasks that you may have as an administrator are only processed in the admin menu by clicking on the task.
Tasks
Under the submenu “Tasks,” you can view tasks assigned to you as well as tasks you have assigned to others.
You have the option to filter the corresponding tasks by status and assignment.
Furthermore, you can assign tasks directly to yourself and other people, optionally setting a deadline and priority.
On the right side, you will see a small overview with a list of tasks based on your selected filter settings.
Create task
In the submenu "Create task", you can also create tasks for yourself and others.
In this view, the overview of tasks already assigned is omitted.
